Riposte of the week


The election of the deeply flawed Mark Sanford to his old Congressional seat in spite of some very public ongoing personal transgressions has caused a great deal of angst among liberal progressives.  Mark is after all, the guy who gave the term ‘hiking the Appellation Trail’ a whole new meaning.  If a high profile Democrat couldn’t win against him, it bodes badly for the mid terms.
This was all too much for Megan McCain who despite her only qualifications being having been conceived in a wealthy mother by a prominent politician, believes herself to be the conscience of the GOP.  She tweeted on the subject and got a response from David Burge (Iowahawk):
